Solomon Dragon Boat Festival - Community Involvement Ideas

Sometimes it can be hard to blend a fun activity with a cause that will really make an impact. But Kristin Kauffman of Cedar Point Credit Union has found a great solution. Each summer, Cedar Point CU is a direct sponsor of the Solomons Dragon Boat Festival. Community members get a chance to race long canoes, and all of the proceeds go to providing events and opportunities for adults with physical and intellectual disabilities in the Southern Maryland region.
